2016 France 2 euro commemorative coin:

The coin shows the image of François Mitterrand taken during the filming of the documentary François Mitterrand: Conversations avec un Président.
To the right, in the background, the coat of arms of the Mitterrand family.
At the bottom of the image the initials of the issuing country RF (French Republic) and on the right the mintmarks of the French Mint (Cornucopia) and its director, Yves Sampo (Pentagon with GAMP-YS initials).
At the top, in an arched line that fits the outer edge of the core of the coin, appears the legend Mitterrand.
The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
